A new brand for a new positioning in a global market

We conducted an extensive initial consulting process by meeting with the entire Biomedal team. During this session, we engaged in a brainstorming exercise to synthesize concepts, ideas, values, and descriptors, aiming to shape an ideal brand that would effectively position them in the market. The BIOMEDAL brand features a symbol inspired by the origin of the name, which is a visual representation derived from the various components of the word BIOMEDAL. The symbol is a 'B' formed by a continuous line that loops back to its starting point, symbolizing an infinite journey and reflecting the innovative and ever-evolving character of the new BIOMEDAL. A new positioning for a local brand that has become one of the most well known rent-a-car brands in Spain

Covey Car Rental is a top provider of industrial vehicle rentals in Spain. In 2013, the company embarked on an expansion initiative, resulting in the opening of 18 locations across the country. Their new branding aims to convey this growth. The branding strategy emphasizes that the vehicles themselves will be the primary communication tool for the brand. Consequently, the brand design should be highly readable from a distance, easily recognizable, and free of distracting symbols. It should be timeless, avoiding transient aesthetic trends, with the goal of being seen as a "new classic" in the industry. We developed specific guidelines for labeling to ensure that their various national suppliers can consistently apply the brand according to different vehicle models. Additionally, we created all necessary stationery and practical guides to ensure clients have the information they need before and during the rental process. Our efforts included adapting and customizing physical spaces, creating graphic campaigns for print and visual support at sales points, conducting photo shoots, and executing numerous online campaigns, including microsites, newsletters, and social media content. Covey specializes in refrigerated vehicles, and the parent brand, along with the Covey Frío brand and any future brands, must complement each other. Establishing a flexible and coherent system is crucial for generating future sub-brands while maintaining a cohesive market presence. Brilliant Sounds Experts is a project established by a team of aeronautical and luthier engineers from Cádiz, specializing in the handcrafted production of musical instruments made from carbon fiber and titanium. The consulting firm Zabalgoitia Global Consultants tasked us with developing a distinctive visual identity for a brand featuring innovative, high-end products in the industry, specifically string and percussion instruments crafted from unconventional materials while ensuring top-notch acoustics and sound quality. In addition to standard branding applications for printed materials, the brand includes various design elements and guidelines that facilitate product customization, making them easily recognizable in the marketplace. It was essential to create a brand that could reflect the identity and character of the products without appearing overly modern or fixating on the current materials used (carbon fiber), as this could change due to future research and development efforts.
