HIGH FIVE e.V. - Our CSR project
HIGH FIVE is a non-profit organization created by employees of Millhaus, aimed at assisting children and youth. The foundation of HIGH FIVE is the belief that sports—especially those that foster meaning and identity, like skateboarding and snowboarding—can impart significant emotional, social, and integrative skills. In their sports education programs, participants develop various values and abilities through physical experiences, teamwork, and both minor and major challenges, including body awareness, enthusiasm, creativity, individuality, enjoyment, patience, stamina, tolerance, and respect. The organization actively promotes the inclusion of children and young people with special needs, addressing a range of individual challenges such as low income, social neglect, lack of education, displacement, and orphanhood. Millhaus shares the HIGH FIVE vision of a world where children can confidently pursue their aspirations, set goals, and achieve them independently. Established in 2010, this award-winning association has received continuous support from Millhaus and is an official project of the Laureus Sports for Good Foundation as well as a project partner with the City of Munich (Education and Sports Department, Social Department).
