MILA, deriving its name from "Milagros," meaning "miracles" in Spanish, is a passionate endeavor by Jay and Liz Curcio, born from their love for each other, family, and hospitality. Their journey began when Jay founded The White Apron in 2004, which evolved into a renowned off-premise catering service across New England by 2011, with Liz joining forces as an event planner and chef. Together, they expanded the business despite challenges like the pandemic. Yearning to create a dedicated event venue, they established MILA—named after Liz’s grandmother, a savvy entrepreneur who inspired their vision. MILA reflects her spirit, offering guests exceptional cuisine and impeccable service within an elegant setting, embodying the Curcios' commitment to memorable celebrations.
