About the Team
OUR STORY
Founded over two decades ago by John Macpherson, Media Surgery began as a freelance venture during his university years, evolving into a full-time passion after his 2008 graduation in Design for Digital Media. John’s profound enthusiasm for design, marketing, and supporting small businesses drives every project. Operating as a solo freelance business, Media Surgery collaborates with independent experts rather than maintaining a traditional team, reflecting John’s desire to focus solely on crafting quality websites. Known for delivering meticulously built sites rather than budget options, the company charges premium fees that reflect the value provided. Committed to accountability, Media Surgery plans to transition to a results-based model by 2027, ensuring clients pay only when business outcomes are achieved.
