Bionik Labs creates cutting-edge tools aimed at helping individuals regain mobility after serious neurological injuries. Although the term "bionic" is often linked to robotic prosthetics, the company's true mission is to empower individuals to live independently without relying on the medical devices commonly used by those affected by injuries or strokes. **Branding Project Objectives:** 1. Highlight the brand's value to customers 2. Define the brand's unique qualities in comparison to competitors 3. Clearly communicate the brand's offerings and goals **Our Approach:** **Brand Research and Positioning:** After our analysis, we identified the brand’s personality as a “Champion Democratizer.” As a "Champion," the company sees a brighter future for those in distress but acknowledges that assistance is necessary. Their commitment is to support patients and healthcare providers in overcoming the significant hurdles of neurological trauma. As a "Democratizer," the company is making advanced technology, which was once confined to prestigious research institutions, accessible to patients and clinicians in various settings, from hospitals to homes. **Naming the Corporation and Products:** Mōhtiv Health Technologies The name Mōhtiv connects the brand with the people and activities that inspire patients to tackle significant challenges. The term "motive" itself holds significance, and by altering it to "Mōhtiv," we enhance its distinctiveness in communication. **Corporate Identity / Brand Mark:** 1. Narrates a story. The design hints at a circular plot, symbolizing measurable patient rehabilitation. 2. Exhibits elegance, reflecting intelligence and creativity. 3. Humanizes the brand. The design avoids rigid shapes and sharp angles, instead utilizing soft movements and color gradients. **Web Conceptualization:** As illustrated in this brief homepage preview, we effectively communicate the company's dedication to advocating for patients and clinicians, helping them navigate the substantial challenges posed by neurological trauma.

A client's first ecommerce site

CODAN USA

We began by establishing branding, positioning, and messaging for a new product line. McAdams Group collaborated with CODAN USA to develop branding and marketing materials for a new series of syringes, alongside their existing product lines. During this process, we replaced their previous agency, which had been unable to complete CODAN's first ecommerce site after a year. In just 3.5 weeks, we worked on a new ecommerce platform. Within this timeframe, we revamped much of the prior agency’s work, integrated ecommerce features, and added over 300 products to the store. We also produced online and print catalogs, along with custom store functionalities for a select group of key clients. Currently, we host the site and are continuously working on its expansion.

Postioning, messaging, tagline and new website

Sidepath

Sidepath already had a logo, but lacked positioning, messaging, a brand voice, a tagline, and a user-friendly website. The question arose: did the world really need another IT company? Perhaps not, but through our McAdams Brand Matrix discovery process, we uncovered that Sidepath was born as a response to the bland and impersonal nature of the telecom and IT industries. They aimed to create something innovative and unique, which we branded as 'Uncommon IT.' The term 'Uncommon' can be associated with descriptors like Uncommon Talent, Uncommon Trust, and Uncommon Results. One client’s leadership team summed up Sidepath’s uniqueness perfectly: "It’s a partnership. It’s more of a mutual learning experience than a typical vendor-customer dynamic."
