Anyday

In February 2020, Anyday was newly established with the aim of launching a fully operational Buy-Now-Pay-Later payment solution for e-commerce within the year. Lacking their own technical team, they needed a fast way to assemble a complete development team to create their product, Anyday. Due to the inherent complexity of fintech products, it was crucial that the team could meet demanding standards for security, reliability, quality, and scalability. Building such a development team from scratch could delay their launch by several months, and as a startup, managing costs was a priority. Manao Software stepped in from the beginning of the product development process, quickly forming a fully outsourced dedicated development team focused on the project. This core team was complemented by specialized roles, including a UX Designer, Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Project Manager, filling needs that wouldn't justify full-time hires at this early stage. Keeping the entire team in one location also enhanced productivity. Anyday was developed as a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform featuring a flexible and scalable microservice architecture. The platform was successfully launched on budget, processing its first online payment in October 2020—a key achievement for the fintech startup.

Product Capability Web App

Continental Tyres

When Continental's sales team received new orders, they needed to consult various departments and parties regarding materials, machine conditions, tools, and other factors. They also had to assess the feasibility of producing tires based on the customized orders. This analysis was conducted using multiple spreadsheets, which proved to be time-consuming, error-prone, and lacking in accuracy. There was no centralized application or platform that allowed the sales and production teams to check information in real time. Consequently, the teams were unable to determine if the new orders could be fulfilled. To address this issue, Continental Tyres aimed to develop a Product Capability web app that would enable all involved parties (sales, engineering, and production) to input relevant data into a single platform, ensuring accuracy. This would facilitate the creation of on-demand orders, with the web app calculating the necessary outcomes to verify whether the customized orders were producible. Manao Software partnered with the Continental Tyres team to identify challenges and assist in the initial stages of the project, including requirements gathering and defining the project's scope.

Personal Training and Diet Advice Mobile App

Køges Kost Koncept

Køges Kost Koncept provides its clients with personalized training and nutrition advice, along with the new Kost Koncept mobile app. Initially, their previous mobile app and web administration operated on a subscription model and offered a wide range of features that seemed ideal. However, over time, the solution revealed significant shortcomings, necessitating the use of additional third-party software to achieve the desired results. Although Køges Kost Koncept managed to get the company behind the service to incorporate some missing functionalities, the process was often lengthy and not all requests were addressed. Additionally, the app was only available in English, lacking a Danish version. Another challenge was that their booking system relied on a different subscription service, which could not be integrated with the above solution due to compatibility issues, resulting in the need to maintain two separate systems and increased labor costs. After two development phases, Manao Software provided a comprehensive, customized solution featuring a mobile app for members and a web administration platform that included member management, booking, and calendar functions for coaches and administrators. During the planning stage, a key focus for Køges Kost Koncept was to streamline functionalities and workflows, enabling coaches to spend less time on the computer and more time with clients. The new web administration allows coaches to quickly create customized diet and workout plans, publish them in the app for individual clients, and communicate in real-time using the built-in chat feature.
