Since the 1950s, the Oceana Hotel has been a highly sought-after destination along the Southern California coastline. Additionally, it is the first property in Hilton's new luxury hotel collection, LXR, to open in the United States. However, the hotel's brand identity, messaging framework, and digital strategy failed to convey the luxurious experience guests expect during their stay. We were tasked with developing new branding, messaging, and a marketing and digital strategy for the hotel. To achieve this, we conducted a comprehensive digital analysis and held on-site sessions to fully engage with the brand and guest experience. Using our findings, we crafted a revitalized brand personality, established brand pillars, and created a messaging structure tailored to attract upscale guests who frequent high-end hotels like Aman and Nobu. Afterward, we transformed their digital presence, resulting in a breathtaking new aesthetic and a user-friendly experience for guests from their initial contact with the hotel. By combining Oceana's unparalleled offerings with captivating branding, our collaboration led to increased sales and a significant rise in web traffic. We not only connected with Oceana's intended audience but also broadened its market appeal, positioning the hotel as an exclusive getaway for those seeking a sophisticated California retreat.

Main & Rose undertook a comprehensive, research-based examination of existing SDG initiatives and identified impactful media trends that could engage the target audience: Gen-Z. Utilizing these insights, we developed #ItStartsWithUs, a timeless and youth-focused social activism campaign that became a global hub for participation and action. We kicked off the initiative with the "#OneWord Change Challenge" during the UN General Assembly in NYC, inviting youth activists to display one word on a finger and share a photo representing their commitment to enacting change. This straightforward and easily shareable grassroots message utilized social media, digital platforms, and live events across various countries, enlisting activist influencers to promote and enhance youth engagement worldwide. #ItStartsWithUs produced significant momentum for the cause and successfully sparked actionable discussions across multiple channels. By linking Gen Z with highly targeted celebrities and influencers, the campaign achieved over 150 million social media impressions, gained organic traction through public relations and widespread celebrity interest, and delivered a 280% return on investment for our client.

Main & Rose humanized the Dutch brand WeTransfer by implementing a comprehensive strategy that helped it adapt to North American business culture. This approach strategically placed Damian Bradfield, Co-founder and President, at the forefront of WeTransfer's US market expansion. To enhance credibility and capture market share for the file-transfer service, we developed an innovative digital identity for his executive brand across web and social media platforms while securing multiple partnerships to foster recognition in the target audience. These efforts were complemented by a strong speaking and public relations strategy to broaden visibility and awareness. This launch connected Damian's image with WeTransfer, leading to speaking opportunities at TechWeek and other prestigious tech conferences, as well as features in major publications such as Fast Co., Forbes, and Inc. Additionally, Main & Rose established strategic partnerships aligned with the company's goals of youth empowerment and creative community development with organizations like the United Nations, Ink, and Spotify. This initiative significantly increased WeTransfer's user base to 50 million users per month across 195 countries.
