Our goal was to minimize the reliance on interpreters and decrease costs, making medical tourism to Germany more accessible. We recognize that the diagnostic and treatment processes are too critical to be fully automated by a mobile app, so we opted to enhance communication within the hospital. Additionally, we had to consider the limited capabilities of patients during their hospital stay and their varying levels of familiarity with modern technology. To address this, we developed a cross-platform mobile application (PWA) that includes a comprehensive list of potential requests patients can make to medical staff, designed with a user-friendly interface. The app also features a voice control system available in over 10 languages, allowing patients with limited mobility to communicate easily with doctors and nurses.
