In order to support their largest client in the US Healthcare sector, myBasePay set out to establish local teams in Colombia and Costa Rica. The company faced a particular challenge: assembling two engineering teams for a greenfield project aimed at overhauling the billing system for a key client. The first team was to be located in Medellin, Colombia, where the goal was to form a local group that included full-stack, backend, and frontend developers, as well as quality assurance testers. The second team needed to be in San Jose, Costa Rica, tasked with locating specific senior IT professionals to enhance the existing Central American team.
