We created a strategy focused on growth through digital marketing and authentic brand storytelling, which resulted in a 91% year-over-year increase in Black Friday online sales. Our team adapted the marketing strategy to prioritize new customer acquisition during the essential Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM) timeframe. This involved reallocating the paid media budget toward attracting new customers while utilizing a robust email marketing program to encourage repeat purchases from existing clients. To enhance engagement at critical moments, we developed a more aggressive email marketing strategy for the holiday season, aimed at capturing immediate purchase intent and minimizing lost sales to competitors. A key innovation was using Martin Dingman’s physical catalog mailing list to improve digital targeting. By uploading this audience to Meta’s platform, we created an effective omnichannel strategy that synchronized physical elements, email communication, and targeted digital ads for maximum effectiveness. The strategy was designed to balance the acquisition of new customers with the retention and nurturing of existing ones.
