Airstream is now taking a new direction with an ambitious retail brand, and Lat Long has developed the technological infrastructure to bring its store and stories to life. Authentic storytelling is essential, and to enhance that, we've created a flexible, component-based storytelling platform utilizing the state-of-the-art Gutenberg editor for WordPress. Each narrative links readers to the products and tools featured, fostering a cycle of storytelling that enhances retail opportunities. At the same time, our operations team has modernized Airstream's physical operations, improving the processes for managing inventory and delivering products to customers. Airstream has focused on realizing its vision by creating top-notch products, while our team has developed a business framework to support those goals. From managing vendors and inventory to facilitating dropship integrations, setting up physical warehouses, processing payments, and designing e-commerce sites with advanced web technologies, we've taken pride in addressing the unique challenges of exploration and adventure, closely aligning with Airstream's core values.

When the iconic phrase, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," was transmitted back to Earth, it was Apollo 11 CAPCOM Charlie Duke who first heard it in his headphones. Just three years later, Duke would have the chance to walk on the moon himself as the Lunar Module Commander for Apollo 16, ultimately contributing to five Apollo missions in various roles. Charlie's journey began long before his involvement with NASA and remains ongoing, as it intersects with numerous organizations, industries, and accomplishments. He shares his story globally, but it also needed a digital platform to serve as a valuable resource for current enthusiasts and as a lasting record of his experiences for future generations. The Lat Long team collaborated with Chaco to explore NASA's archives, uncovering seldom-seen images from one of history's most significant events and creating interactive elements to animate Charlie's narrative. Charlie subsequently shared his reflections on each image, providing insider insight into the story behind each photo—offering a personal glimpse into his experiences throughout the Apollo project. The end result is a rich and personal retelling of historic moments that brings this monumental achievement down to a relatable human scale.

A nationally recognized nonprofit organization is committed to supporting visually impaired students and individuals with learning differences through audiobooks and custom-designed educational products. Over the past eight years, Lat Long has spearheaded numerous large-scale projects with an emphasis on accessibility. We have completely rebuilt their website, revamped the membership and registration processes, developed a standalone audiobook app, transformed their sales workflow from initial contact to closing, and meticulously planned a modern ecommerce content library featuring over 60,000 titles.
