New Website for Ad Patina leads to +56% CVR
**Background**
Nick Federowicz, the founder of Ad Patina, curates original advertisements from vintage magazines, frames them, and sells them as art pieces. Many of these ads originate from the golden age of mid-century advertising, while others are more contemporary. Pretty interesting, right? Ad Patina has received features in prominent publications such as The New York Times, Hodinkee, and Gear Patrol. Seeking to refresh its online presence, Ad Patina turned to Kreativa Group to transform its static website into a fully functional e-commerce platform.
**Our Approach**
To maintain the essence of the original site's design while modernizing it, we updated the aesthetics and incorporated best practices in UI/UX. We transitioned from Squarespace to Shopify, an e-commerce-focused platform. A range of new features was added, the most notable being e-commerce capabilities, a mega menu for enhanced navigation, breadcrumbs, sorting and filtering options, variant swatches, a product detail page (PDP), mobile optimization, built-in SEO, and conversion rate optimization strategies from the start.
**Positive Outcomes**
The revamped website is a significantly improved version of the original, embodying the latest UI/UX standards and empowering users to browse, shop, and purchase products effortlessly. As with any website or marketing initiative we undertake, the results speak for themselves. Following the launch, Ad Patina experienced an impressive 423% increase in organic search engine traffic, a 16% boost in user engagement, and a 56% rise in the conversion rate.
