OUR STORY
Knight Training Institute (KTI), founded by Ed Troiano of Knight Security New York, bridges the gap in professional security training in NYC by offering top-tier programs for new and licensed personnel. They provide required New York State courses, including 8-hour pre-registration and 16-hour on-the-job training, both online and in-person. KTI's expert trainers, with backgrounds in NYPD, FDNY, and executive protection, continually update curricula to reflect industry developments. Beyond basics, KTI emphasizes discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness essential for success. Additionally, they offer exclusive Celebrity & Executive Protection Training for those aiming at entertainment security roles. Committed to excellence, KTI equips students with certificates upon course completion and strives to maintain high standards rooted in over 20 years of experience.
