Kinn Studios

KINN Studios is the only experiential design studio in Calgary with a background in architecture. Established by Kiran Rai-Bhullar, who holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, the studio uniquely blends architecture, art, and experience design. We create physical spaces that evoke emotions. Our expertise encompasses seven areas: art installations and custom murals, experiential marketing campaigns, immersive event planning, creative direction, experiential architecture and set design, boutique interior design, and tailored event design. Each project, whether it’s large community murals developed with Indigenous artists or carefully crafted bridal showers that consider even the scent of each candle, is approached with the same architectural precision and creative vision. What sets KINN apart is our methodology; while many designers begin with mood boards, we focus on the space itself—examining how people enter, what they first notice, how they navigate the environment, and what they take away. Concepts are illustrated using 3D spatial models to allow clients to experience the design before any physical implementation. Our projects range from public art commissions for municipalities and developers to brand activations for corporate and lifestyle clients, as well as interior design for retail, hospitality, and cannabis spaces, and personalized celebrations for private clients. Notable works include "Vibrance in Diversity," a 100-meter community mural in NE Calgary with Indigenous artist Kristy North-Peigan, Lavish Beauty (a boutique salon interior), and Ma Cherie (a personalized bridal shower at Venue 308). Located in Calgary, KINN Studios serves clients throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and across Canada, collaborating with those who recognize that truly unforgettable spaces are crafted through design rather than mere decoration.
