Founded by Shaun Zelber, whose extensive experience in startups across Asia, the US, and France revealed a clear need for specialized software development teams, KeenEye was created to support startups both domestically and internationally. Over time, the company has grown to encompass over 100 professionals representing 18 different ethnicities across six countries. Despite this expansion, KeenEye's foundational vision and commitment to its core principles remain unchanged, fueling its sustained growth and success in the tech industry.

Cedar Electronics

Cedar Electronics features several prominent aftermarket automotive brands, including Cobra, Escort, and Snooper. Their product range includes dash cams, CB radios, and walkie-talkies. The company faced the challenge of developing a software layer for their hardware, enabling users to access and utilize the data generated by these devices on mobile phones or the web. This initiative marked a significant shift for Cedar, transitioning from merely selling hardware to offering software solutions integrated with their products. KeenEye was instrumental in creating this cloud-based layer, as well as the web and mobile interfaces, allowing users to clip and annotate videos from their dash cams and send them to insurance companies or authorities in the event of an accident. This enhancement made the hardware significantly more functional, as previously, users had to manually download content and upload it to a PC. The solution devised by KeenEye empowered users to manage multiple accounts and access their content directly from their smartphones. Built on AWS and utilizing a NodeJS backend and ReactJS frontend, along with native iOS and Android applications for mobile, KeenEye collaborated closely with manufacturers in China and Korea to ensure seamless synchronization of the hardware and software.

CargoWise

KeenEye collaborates closely with a major international logistics firm based in India that utilizes CargoWise One’s ERP solution. While CargoWise is the leading ERP in the logistics sector, it often lacks user-friendliness and doesn't necessarily meet client expectations regarding usability. To address this, KeenEye developed an interface around CargoWise. Now, clients and agents can view their shipments on a map and receive notifications when their intervention is required. They can also manage quotes and orders visually, similar to many SaaS platforms. To ensure a high level of security and a robust solution, a middleware developed in Laravel and NodeJS operates on Azure, facilitating communication with a frontend built in VueJS. CargoWise One has been transformed into a responsive web app designed to streamline a previously cumbersome process, blending visual appeal with functional elements and strong security measures for both parties.

ShopFlow

ShopFlow operates within the automotive repair industry. In the USA, repair shops primarily utilize software to manage their customers and order replacement parts, with Mitchell1 being the largest provider of such software, part of the NYSE-listed Snap-on company. ShopFlow was established to connect repair shops directly with their customers. By leveraging the data generated from Mitchell1’s software, ShopFlow enables repair shops to notify clients when their vehicles require servicing or to offer discounts. For instance, while a car is being serviced, the shop can use a chat feature to send images of additional repairs needed to obtain pricing approval. All of this functionality is accessible through an easy-to-use app. KeenEye has collaborated with the ShopFlow team since its launch, focusing on designing user flows and developing the backend technology. The backend API is created using NodeJS, while the front end is built with ReactNative. Additionally, a tablet application for garage staff was developed in native Android.
