About the Team

OUR STORY
Founded in 2004 by Electronic Engineer Edmundo Casas, Kauel began as Colt Power Ideas, inspired by a term meaning "Colt" in Spanish, focusing on innovative technology products for education, culture, and entertainment. Early growth led to the partnership with co-founder Cristian Romero and attracted investors like Alejandra Mustakis in 2010, prompting a rebranding to Kauel, meaning "Foal" in Mapudungun, symbolizing new beginnings. That year, Kauel unveiled a patented hologram pyramid, earning the Best Invention Award by Chile's Ministry of Economy. Their Kinect innovation won the President's Award for innovation in 2012, and international recognition followed. By 2015, Kauel expanded into sectors like power supply and health, attracting new investors such as INVEXOR Capital in 2018. With a team committed to
