Optimizing Operations with Power Apps and Dynamics

Drakkar Group

The challenge: cumbersome processes and restricted mobility Global outsourcing leader Drakkar Group operates as a subcontractor across various industries, including the airport sector. In one of their departments, staff assist passengers with reduced mobility in navigating airport terminals and offer related services. The Drakkar Group required a method for employees to record customer interactions and the time spent with them for billing purposes, without disrupting on-site operations. They turned to JOVACO for a solution. The solution: an intuitive mobile Power App Since the client was already utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform, Power Apps proved to be the perfect fit. JOVACO created a customized mobile app that enables employees to scan passenger boarding passes using their phone cameras. The app automatically fills in the relevant information in the system, allowing employees to easily edit it, add extra services, or reassign the customer to another staff member. It logs all the data for precise billing, eliminating manual tasks, reducing the risk of errors, and preventing financial losses. The result: consistently accurate billing information! Implementing Power Apps notably enhanced operations for the client. It expedited information processing and billing, boosted employee productivity, and improved both employee and customer experiences. "Employees are really pleased with this app because it simplifies their fieldwork. Given the demands of their roles, it was challenging for them to find the time to gather the necessary customer details for invoicing," explains Marc-Olivier Deschamps, IT Systems Director at Group Drakkar. "Now, it can be completed in just a few clicks, minimizing frustrations and oversights, and allowing them to focus on enhancing the customer experience." This is just one example of the numerous opportunities provided by Power Apps. Interested in discovering how Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps can benefit your organization? Reach out to JOVACO!

Managing Projects with Business Central and OMZY

Unknown

Situation: An IT company is comprised of three firms situated in various regions, each utilizing their own distinct accounting system alongside a CRM solution. The lack of integration among these systems led to lengthy and cumbersome manual processes, particularly in invoicing and reporting. The database was filled with numerous duplicate entries, and in some cases, even triple entries. This created significant challenges in areas such as project management, invoicing, and intercompany accounting. The company was in search of a solution that could unify the various elements of their management system to optimize daily operations and facilitate access to the necessary data and reports for their team. Solution: The company decided to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central along with OMZY, a new project management solution from JOVACO. As a cloud-based ERP solution, Business Central consolidates all data and operations, while OMZY offers enhanced project management features specifically tailored for professional services firms. Results: By adopting Business Central and OMZY, the client now enjoys a fully integrated management system. They successfully removed their disparate systems and manual workflows by automating invoicing, payroll, and timesheet collection. The all-in-one solution also fosters collaboration among their various teams and companies, automating intercompany processes. Additionally, OMZY equips them with the tools and flexibility necessary for effective project management throughout the project's entire lifecycle. Project managers can easily monitor key performance indicators via project dashboards, and budgeting can be as detailed as needed, with invoicing automated according to project and client specifications.

Centralizing Data and Tools with Cloud ERP

Unknown

**Situation** A construction company aimed to upgrade its outdated system to a modern, integrated management solution. Previously, they relied on various software for accounting, CRM, and payroll, and manually monitored inventories, timesheets, and project estimates through Excel and paper records. This setup made it difficult for them to generate required reports and access reliable data. Their database often contained duplicate entries, and work-in-progress (WIP) estimates had to be approximated due to an absence of precise information. To resolve these challenges, the firm contacted JOVACO to enhance their business processes and consolidate their tools and data. **Solution** To fulfill the client's requirements, JOVACO deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This comprehensive ERP solution allows businesses to manage all operations from a single platform, removing the need for disconnected applications and manual inventory and timesheet tasks. Additionally, the Business Central project module automates rate calculations and provides real-time tracking of costs for improved project oversight and budget management. **Results** With the implementation of Business Central, the construction firm successfully centralized its data and operations. By automating inventory and manufacturing processes, they significantly streamlined project management, reduced manual tasks, and minimized the risk of errors and duplicate entries. Team members can now concentrate on essential responsibilities rather than tedious manual work. Tracking costs, time, and inventory has become much more accurate and efficient. Project estimates are now more precise, which helps to decrease discrepancies between budgeted and actual amounts, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction.
