We were honored to present on branding at a significant Hitachi directors' meeting, focusing on its rising prominence in the B2B sector. Recognizing that businesses sell to people even when targeting companies, we highlighted the importance of shaping perceptions amidst growing societal demands on corporate social and environmental responsibility. The "branding dilemma" we explored includes internal budget conflicts, reluctance to pursue long-term branding due to immediate result pressures, and challenges measuring branding impact. Through collaboration, we advocate balancing investments between short-term sales and long-term brand building, which supports growth, sustainability, competitive edge, and talent management.
