**Overview** Jerome L. Taylor Trucking (JLT) is a waste collection company that is locally owned and operated, established in 2002 as a second-generation operation in Washington DC. The Taylor family's journey in waste collection began in 1972, the year the company's namesake was born. After gaining experience in the waste industry, Jerome Taylor aimed to solidify the Taylor family's legacy in Washington DC's waste collection history. Starting with just one truck servicing the District in 2002, Mr. Taylor has guided JLT's expansion into a multi-state enterprise that is growing rapidly. We are excited to announce the acquisition of an additional yard that will accommodate up to 50 of JLT's collection vehicles, providing us with the necessary resources to sustain our growth.
