With over two decades of experience in software development and managing product teams, we recognized a recurring challenge in building software efficiently. We repeatedly encountered familiar obstacles such as recreating databases, duplicating code for data handling, and implementing similar user interface functionalities like formatting and searching across projects. The repetitive nature extended to integrating business rules, events, and APIs with minimal variation, leading to recurring bugs both in the UI and backend systems. Additionally, planning for security, deployment, and scalability often proved complex, while project delays compounded when onboarding new developers disrupted progress. Finding senior experts for niche features became yet another hurdle, motivating us to seek a better, more streamlined approach to software development.
