Jess Bousa is a graduate of the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, PA, where he received two Bachelor's degrees in Pastoral Ministry and Theological Studies. He then went on to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA, earning two Master's degrees: one in Biblical Languages and another in Religion with a focus on Entrepreneurship. During his time at GCTS, he spent a year at Harvard Divinity School to complete part of one of his Master's programs. Jess has authored two books, titled The Discipleship Dare and Cultural-Deficit Disorder. After graduating from GCTS in 2009, he relocated to Harford County, Maryland, where he established a contemporary church in Havre de Grace in 2011, which quickly expanded to five locations with a congregation of 1,200 people. By combining his interests in entrepreneurship, marketing, and his inherent skills in business and finance, he positioned his organization among the top 5% of churches in the nation. In 2018, Jess followed his entrepreneurial aspirations in the marketplace by launching JB Financial Group, a rapidly growing financial services practice. In his role as a Financial Consultant and Business Broker, he assists clients in making informed financial decisions for a secure future and helps business owners achieve the American Dream through business brokerage and franchise consulting.
