Since November 2016, Character Lab has shifted all its recruitment processes to JANE's system and experts. The positions filled by Character Lab using JANE include Director of Design, Director of External Affairs, Director of School Partnerships, Director of Strategic Partnerships, School Partnership Managers, Research Partnership Managers, Executive Assistant, Software Engineers, Education Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager, Research Manager, UX Designer, Visual Designer, and Interns. During the past four years of collaboration, JANE has built a diverse candidate pool of more than 8,000, from which Character Lab has appointed over 35 employees through JANE.

Talent Solutions for Property Mgmt & Real Estate

Houwzer

The Challenge: In the first quarter of 2016, the company enlisted JANE's assistance to improve its hiring process and refine its selection methods for professionals, many of whom did not have prior real estate experience. The Solution: JANE collaborated with Houwzer to create ideal candidate profiles (ICP) for their sales agents and administrative staff. A dedicated hiring specialist from JANE then crafted job advertisements, developed a recruitment strategy, and established a screening process, implementing it within Houwzer's applicant tracking system (ATS). The Outcome: Through JANE, Houwzer has filled various positions, including real estate agents, lead managers, administrative staff, mortgage loan officers, and general managers. Houwzer continues to rely on JANE for its recruitment efforts and has expanded to over 60 employees. Additionally, the company has built a strong employer brand and positive reputation, achieving ratings of 4.7 and 4.8 out of 5 on Indeed and Glassdoor, respectively.

Hiring Quality Technical Talent for Higher Ed

The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School

The Challenge: The Wharton School enlisted JANE to refine their recruitment process and enhance their selection methods to effectively attract suitable technical talent for roles such as Product Managers, Software Engineers, and a Director of Engineering needed for a significant research initiative aimed at fostering lasting behavior change. The Solution: JANE was brought on board to develop and execute an optimal hiring process for these technical positions, overseeing the recruitment and selection phases. They worked closely with the leadership team to create ideal candidate profiles and established a comprehensive talent sourcing and selection strategy. The Outcome: Within three months of partnering with JANE, the Wharton School successfully hired a Product Manager, a Director of Software Engineering, and Full Stack Developers, achieving an average time to fill of 68 days.
