HM UK GOVERNMENT ANIMAL & PLANT HEALTH AGENCY

The scenic Welsh countryside is not only stunning but also crucial for the prosperity of Wales. However, non-native pests and bacteria pose significant risks to Welsh farming and natural ecosystems. The challenge lies in getting the public to pay attention to these elusive pests they may not be familiar with. One effective approach is to develop an appealing character and craft a clever, engaging narrative that fosters a personal connection to the issue, encouraging the public to take action. A 3.5-minute video launched at the Royal Welsh Show employs friendly graphics to raise awareness about the dangers posed by these tiny, often unseen pests, making the threat both visible and memorable.

THE CAMH CRISIS EXPLAINER VIDEO

Cardiff University

Cardiff University sought our assistance in showcasing their research on mental health services for children and young people. Our strategy focused on highlighting the real individuals impacted by these services, demonstrating that impactful storytelling doesn't require elaborate animations or a large range of characters. Addressing something as intricate as mental health necessitates a straightforward message that resonates with the audience and prompts action. By using stock images and a vibrant visual style, we illustrated the challenges faced by young people and underscored the responsibility of adults to support them.
