About the Team

OUR STORY
JAMBOX Entertainment Studios, based in Chelsea, NYC, is a renowned music recording company offering diverse audio and production services. Founded in the early 1980s by Lee Evans in the South Bronx, it began as a modest 4-track setup in a basement apartment. Driven by Evans' musical passion and experience, the studio attracted local talent and evolved over the years, relocating to the East Village in 1989 and Midtown Manhattan in 1998. Now co-owned by Lee Evans and Cathy Palmisano, JAMBOX serves thousands of clients, including record labels and artists, and is known for its welcoming, family-friendly environment. Beyond recording, the studio actively engages in community outreach and philanthropy, supporting youth development through music and education.
