International Guide Academy (IGA), established in 1973 and headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, is the pioneering school specializing in training and certifying Tour Directors and Tour Guides. Hosting classes at the Courtyard by Marriott in the Denver Tech Center area, IGA draws students from nearly 100 countries across all continents. The Academy offers the Certified International Tour Manager (CITM) program with hands-on in-person training by active industry professionals, alongside a self-paced Tour Guide certification. Licensed by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, IGA provides graduates with free lifetime placement assistance, connecting them continuously to hiring tour operators.
