Founded in 2007 by Mitch Maiman and Paul Severino, former executives at Symbol Technologies, IPS began as a vision to deliver comprehensive product design and engineering services. Rooted in product engineering and manufacturing, the company aimed to offer clients an integrated solution encompassing industrial design, mechanical engineering, software development, optical engineering, and UX/UI design. Starting with a modest mechanical engineering team, IPS has expanded to over 75 designers and engineers, serving clients across North America and globally for more than 18 years. In 2018, IPS became part of Forward Industries, sharing a unified goal to provide end-to-end product design, development, and manufacturing. This partnership has enhanced collaboration and broadened the company’s capability to fulfill an extended vision for its customers.
