We are integrating the delivery department with a web solution for deeds registration involving Public Notaries, aiming to accelerate the house delivery timeline from weeks to just days. The challenge lies in maintaining customer satisfaction while delivering hundreds of houses weekly. The manual process of deeds registration can be time-consuming, potentially affecting customer happiness and incurring operational costs due to possible errors. Our objective is to expedite this process without compromising security and compliance. To address this, we developed a secure deeds registration platform where Public Notaries can collect digital copies of customer files. They can then evaluate the eligibility of these files to issue deeds registration, which is integrated with SAP. Notaries access the platform through a multifactor authentication system that verifies the user ID, password, dynamic password, and the authorized GPS location, all secured with military-grade encryption. After logging in, Notaries can view the assigned customer expedients to issue deeds, review attached documents, and upload additional files. Once the expedient is complete and ready for registration, the notary captures their dynamic password or security token as a digital signature, which automatically creates a new Purchase Order in SAP.

The Challenge: As part of our ongoing innovation collaboration with a major remittance money transfer company, we aim to reshape their brand’s image to make it more modern and forward-thinking, while also streamlining the process of sending money internationally. The Solution: We developed an easy-to-use and enjoyable add-on for their mobile app that allows customers to set up recurring transfers using their smartwatch. Users begin by choosing the recipient and the method of receiving the funds. The amount to be transferred is automatically filled in based on the recipient's transfer history. If customers wish to enter a different amount, they can simply tap the microphone icon and verbally specify the amount. Navigation is effortless with swipe gestures. Customers confirm their payment method, which can be one of the options saved in their profile, such as a bank account or credit card. Finally, a summary of the transfer is shown for confirmation, making it simple and convenient.

The Challenge: Each year, over $25.7 billion USD is sent across the border to Mexico as remittance transfers. While this represents a substantial market, the process of sending money back home to assist family and friends can be cumbersome and costly, according to many individuals in the USA. Money transfers typically happen between individuals, raising the question: how can we make these transactions feel more personal? The Solution: Developed in our innovation lab, we have created a platform for person-to-person money transfers that leverages blockchain technology. Our research revealed that money transfers often begin with a conversation initiated on a smartphone. This insight led us to design a custom keyboard instead of merely an app for transferring funds. Our platform allows users to create profiles where senders can fund transactions using credit or debit cards, or even add cash at CVS Pharmacies or 7-Eleven through our partnership with Pay Near Me. Recipients receive their funds on a prepaid Mexican debit card, known as the 'Saldazo' card. When money is sent, the platform utilizes the sender’s funds to execute a microtransaction on the blockchain, converting the funds to cryptocurrency before depositing them onto the recipient’s card. The receiver can access the money within minutes for a small flat fee.
