The project's objective was to implement modifications to item reservation in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Version 18. The execution followed the Agile Methodology alongside Microsoft's Sure Step approach. The project was split into five parts, and utilizing Agile, the work was delivered incrementally based on these components. Senior consultants and developers were involved in the project, along with a lead project manager to oversee the team internally. The outcomes accomplished by the conclusion of this project are:

Implementation of MS Dyn 365 CRM, Banking Sector

International Partner

The project aimed to develop a CRM application that would encompass all the banking business functionalities. This primary application is structured into two layers. Regarding its implementation, Agile Methodology was utilized alongside Microsoft Dynamics' Sure Step methodology. Following customizations, testing, and client approval during the initial general release, the subsequent phase involved identifying change requests arising from the prior delivery, developing those changes, and continuing work for the next general release. All modifications and customizations are consistently applied across Development, Testing, general release, and the live environment. The collaboration with the client remained ongoing and closely integrated throughout every stage of the project. The platform utilized for this project is Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) paired with a Microsoft SQL Server database. Ultimately, the first general release delivered to the client encompassed all requested business functionalities, complete with the necessary implementations, customizations, and integrations with other external systems utilized by the bank.

Implementation of MS Dyn Business Central

International Partner

The project's objective was to upgrade the group's ERP system with new and innovative technology that integrates all business processes. The company was previously using an outdated version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV2009R2. The client aimed to restore as many standard functionalities as possible, removing the majority of outdated customizations made over the years that were no longer relevant with the new platform. In addition to implementing BC Standard, another key goal was to integrate several BC applications from a Microsoft partner ISV (Independent Software Vendor) based in Italy that collaborates with our partner. The two primary modules implemented were the Administration Module, which includes sales accounting, purchasing, inventory management, asset payments, electronic invoicing, periodic accounting, and financial reporting, and the Project Management module, designed to oversee the entire project lifecycle from initial project configurations to task definitions and resources, along with integration into a "CRM" platform on the web for users to log their working hours. During the project, three main challenges were addressed: 1) Eliminating redundant developments from NAV2009R2 by aligning with BC standard processes and ISV applications; 2) Migrating historical project data to the new system, resolved by utilizing BI reports that could read data from both platforms; and 3) Localization issues. The implementation methodology combined Agile Methodology with Microsoft’s Sure Step methodology, dividing the project into five components.
