ABOUT JOSH GILL, founder of Inbound Authority: Over the past nine years, I have been involved in the Internet Marketing and SEO sector, assisting clients in increasing their sales, leads, and traffic from search engines like Google. When I established Inbound Authority, the industry was experiencing a significant transformation, as the term SEO no longer encompassed all the tasks necessary for effectively marketing a great business or product online. Around 2012, the term "Inbound Marketing" began to emerge to describe the strategies essential for a successful marketing campaign, including website optimization, SEO, PPC, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, and more. This is why I chose the name Inbound Authority to reflect my work. I find this field particularly enjoyable because every website and client presents a unique challenge. The ongoing evolution of technology and search engines like Google adds to the excitement of the industry. In the past, I handled a variety of SEO and marketing tasks, but in 2016, I decided to concentrate on the two areas I am most passionate about: working with Shopify e-commerce websites and helping local businesses enhance their online search presence. I aspire to eventually focus on just one of these areas to become an expert in that field; for now, I am still weighing my options. One of my greatest enthusiasms is leveraging the knowledge I've gained over the years to assist others, which has led me to start an online training course on the well-known Udemy.com platform.
