About the Team
OUR STORY
The Dinah, established by Mariah Hanson over 35 years ago, stands as the world's premier music festival and party celebrating queer women. Recently, longtime team members Bella Barkow, an experienced event producer, and Rose Garcia, a renowned emcee and entrepreneur, acquired the event, ensuring its continuation under the newly formed BellaRose Productions. This transition preserves The Dinah's community-led, LGBTQ+ rooted essence while infusing fresh energy and innovation. Both Garcia and Barkow bring deep personal connections and professional expertise, promising to honor Mariah's legacy and advance the festival's impact. With a rich history of cultural significance, The Dinah remains a safe, transformative space for queer women and allies, poised for continued growth and evolution.
