Established in 1994 by Managing Director Ollie Leggett, IE was born from a passion to bridge the gap between charities, health, and education sectors and top-tier creative talent—an opportunity traditionally reserved for large enterprises. Ollie's background as a teacher, design lecturer, and charity trustee fuelled this mission. Initially launched as a brand consultancy, IE expanded in 2002 by acquiring a digital agency to better harness the growing significance of digital platforms in brand expression, addressing frustrations over inadequate technical execution. Currently, IE operates with a dedicated team of about 15 professionals in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, staying true to its founding vision. The agency empowers not-for-profits through a comprehensive range of services—from research and brand messaging to UX/UI design and
