**THE CHALLENGE** An Overgrown, Clunky Website Iceberg began collaborating with Instinct Dog Behavior & Training in 2017 to redesign their website, aiming to highlight their compassionate approach to dog training in urban Brooklyn and Manhattan. Instinct gained a reputation for positively impacting their community, rising to the top of Manhattan's search rankings for dog training and receiving national attention. This growth brought in a larger customer base and an increased demand for website features that could showcase their expanding services and franchising options. Over the years, the website evolved in a patchwork fashion, making it evident that onboarding new franchisees was a lengthy process; the various updates resulted in a disjointed design. **THE SOLUTION** Seamless Integration Between Main Website and Franchise Sub-Sites We aimed to enhance the Instinct website, making it more user-friendly for visitors to learn about the services and expertise offered as well as to locate their nearest franchise. We incorporated new, vibrant branding elements, reorganized the entire site structure, and updated the footer layout to reflect their national presence. Each franchise sub-site follows a consistent layout that can be easily replicated for new franchise locations. One of the challenges in redesigning the menu structure for such a large site was maintaining the SEO integrity of the original site. We thoughtfully retained the same URLs wherever feasible and properly redirected any outdated pages with changed names. Additionally, it was crucial to preserve all existing Google Tag Manager data and tracking events. We also maintained all original form integrations established between the website and Instinct’s CRM.

**THE CHALLENGE** Creating a Website as Impressive as Gonyea's Custom Homes Founded in 1987, Gonyea has enjoyed significant success and rapid growth, prompting them to clearly delineate their operations into three distinct divisions: Gonyea Custom Homes, Stonegate Builders, and Gonyea Transformations. With the team's recent rebranding efforts, they sought a way to market each division separately while still conveying the historical essence of the Gonyea brand. Despite their current website being just a year old, it fell short of reflecting the new branding and failed to cohesively represent the three divisions. **THE SOLUTION** Emphasizing Consistency Gonyea prioritizes craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and attentive customer service, so we mirrored this focus by creating a suite of websites that showcases each division's unique strengths while preserving Gonyea’s historical identity and ensuring a uniform experience for website visitors across all platforms. The sites feature stunning photography and a bright, airy custom design. We implemented a traditional navigation menu along with a top-level multi-site navigation system to allow easy access to all brand divisions. Key design elements were consistently applied across the sites, with each site also featuring integrations tailored to the specific company. For example, the Stonegate site includes a custom map of available homes and a section for home plans that are dynamically showcased on the neighborhood pages.

Additionally, the site was challenging to navigate and lacked overall coherence, negatively impacting user experience. **THE SOLUTION: Comprehensive Custom Website Design and Development** We modernized the website's design in alignment with their updated branding guidelines, creating a consistent look between their printed materials and online presence. We recommended simplifying the language throughout the site to make it more reader-friendly and easier to navigate. A staff portfolio featuring photos and bios was added, allowing them to showcase their expertise in financial services. As a result, EGPS can now effectively educate clients about their varied offerings. The outcome has been an increase in satisfaction for both customers and employees.
