Online Campaign for Thailand Elite Residency

International residence and citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners, along with the Thailand Elite Residence Program managed by Thailand Privilege Card Company Ltd., assumed the responsibility of promoting the program in 2017. This pioneering initiative is the first of its kind globally, granting unlimited access to the renowned Southeast Asian destination and offering a variety of exclusive VIP privileges. It was launched by the Royal Thai Government to attract affluent individuals, families, investors, and entrepreneurs interested in spending extended time in Thailand to benefit from its favorable tax system and high standard of living at relatively low costs. The Thailand Elite Residence Program offers a multiple-entry visa to eligible applicants, enabling them to live and visit Thailand for up to twenty years for a one-time fee ranging from THB 500,000 (around USD 16,000) to THB 2.14 million (approximately USD 68,000), depending on the selected option. The program features seven different choices, each varying in benefits, costs, and duration. The most sought-after options include the five-year Elite Easy Access, the five-year Elite Family Excursion for multiple persons, and the twenty-year Elite Superiority Extension. Despite already attracting a significant number of applicants, the goal for 2018 was to boost these numbers to ensure year-over-year growth. To address this, we developed strategic plans focusing on timing, communication methods, and demographic analysis of the local market, particularly on platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn. We created multiple custom targets for each social media channel and employed various advertising methods (text, sponsored ads, ads with images, and other creative formats) to reach our target audience, producing over 10 ad sets with multiple advertisements. Final creative decisions were made based on client suggestions. We emphasized effective local targeting through brand persona research while continuously running and optimizing their ads in real time. As a result of the campaign, Henley & Partners reported record growth for the Thailand Elite Residence Program. They noted that March 2018 marked a historic high for the program, with 161 new residents registered—over half the total number of residents onboarded in the previous year before Henley & Partners began its promotional efforts.
