### About the Client Biolog Pharma is a medium-sized pharmaceutical firm dedicated to innovation and excellence in drug development and distribution. The company prioritizes providing high-quality medications and uses a nationwide network of Medical Representatives (MRs) to boost sales and ensure product accessibility. ### Challenges Faced by Biolog Pharma Biolog Pharma encountered issues with the manual tracking of sales data, leading to inconsistencies in commission calculations for MRs. The company struggled to track individual MR performance and generate reports efficiently. There were challenges in calculating total revenue from individual sales data due to the absence of centralized data. Manually generating sales reports and commission statements proved to be laborious. Additionally, the existing system lacked scalability to accommodate the growing number of sales representatives and territories. The fragmentation of user data across various platforms caused delays in decision-making. ### Solutions for Biolog Pharma We created a comprehensive system that automatically calculates commissions based on sales data. An interactive application was developed to provide real-time insights into MR performance and generate reports instantly, improving visibility for both MRs and management. We implemented an integrated application that consolidates sales data, simplifying the calculation of total revenue and performance tracking at any time. By incorporating PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM into the application, we unified all sales and commission reports, eliminating the need for manual reporting and minimizing errors. The application was designed to scale effortlessly with Node.JS and NestJS, ensuring efficient management of an increasing number of users and transactions.
