A smartwatch-enabled system that is pioneering advancements in cardiac arrest management. We collaborated with Relay Response to overcome a challenge they faced within the Apple ecosystem. Together, we determined that transitioning to Google’s Wear OS was the best solution. We developed a comprehensive smartwatch-enabled platform that is at the forefront of assisting medical teams in saving more lives through the use of real-time data during cardiac arrest emergencies.

DaVinci Wearables is a health and wellness platform focused on women's peak performance, utilizing technology and AI-driven advice for personalized training plans. Their mobile app offers tailored insights into users' menstrual cycles, helping them understand and manage their individual physiology and performance capabilities. THE CHALLENGE Our collaboration with DaVinci began when they reached out for help enhancing their iOS app in preparation for Techstars’ Demo Day. Acknowledging the significance of their product, we were excited to assist. The main challenge was establishing a connection between the iOS app and their proprietary wearable device to retrieve data. OUR SOLUTION We assembled a comprehensive team that included iOS and backend developers, along with project managers, and got to work. The successful engagement with TechStars not only pleased them but also motivated them to continue our partnership. The positive results strengthened our collaboration. One of our proudest achievements is the integration of their app with the wearable device. Although it was challenging to understand the underlying logic, we successfully enabled users to view data from the wearable in the app for performance insights. Over the past few months, we have focused on creating a custom backend and integrating with Apple’s HealthKit, as well as devices from Garmin, Oura, and WHOOP. Additionally, we have assisted in developing various features for their AI-driven women’s health platform.

Flourish Science is a well-being startup that originated at Stanford University, established by a group of behavioral scientists from Stanford alongside mission-focused designers and software engineers from Google. The company offers a science-driven, AI-enhanced well-being app and organizational programs aimed at helping individuals and communities foster deeper connections, reduce stress, and experience greater happiness. THE CHALLENGE When we initially teamed up with Flourish, they were already providing a robust web app for their program users. After validating their idea and gathering market feedback, it became apparent to the Flourish team that developing a cross-platform mobile app was the next logical step to better cater to their audience and enhance their impact. OUR SOLUTION We collaborated with their internal design and tech team to transform a functioning web app, complete with a fully developed backend and activities, into a Flutter app. Utilizing their design, we crafted a smooth onboarding experience to ensure users felt at ease from the start. We focused on user-friendly features, such as a secure sign-in that enables personalized interactions, and tools like mood-check functionalities for users to assess their emotional well-being. Additionally, we integrated modules that encourage active well-being activities and created a comprehensive resource library to provide users with plenty of guidance. Beyond the individual features, our collective achievement lay in the effective integration of these elements, showcasing the complementary relationship between our development skills and Flourish's research-supported methodology.
