Cawston Press, born from a passion for quality food, creates beverages that not only taste delightful but are also visually appealing. They source the finest fruits inspired by traditional British kitchen gardens, ensuring their products are of the highest quality, making them ideal for a more discerning, mature audience. Their collaboration with us aimed to develop a brand proposition that reflects these values. Our goal was to formulate a unified strategy for all target audiences. Ultimately, we sought to position the brand not just as a "remarkably refreshing" alternative in the soft drinks industry but also as an option to substitute alcohol, rather than simply serving as a mixer. When we began our partnership with Cawston Press, the brand mainly relied on product design. In the initial phase of our long-term creative strategy, we aimed to expand the brand's identity and messaging through a comprehensive brand book. We transformed the brand’s facts into a compelling narrative that aimed to reshape the soft drinks industry and culture, encouraging consumers to recognize alternative choices. We wanted to assert that the soft drinks market had become complacent and outdated, lacking awareness of evolving consumer behaviors and needs. Cawston Press took it upon themselves to demonstrate that people need not settle for sugary, uninspired drinks. However, with this responsibility came the necessity for Cawston Press to establish a standard for their vision. Their commitment was straightforward: they have consistently aimed to do good, whether by striking a balance between exceptional taste and authentic ingredients without added sugar or preservatives, or by considering how they source their apples and fruits. Yet, merely being "good" was not sufficient.

No.1 Living - Branding, advertising and product design

Vibrant Transformation To assist 'No.1 Kombucha' in its rebranding to 'No.1 Living' and to introduce two new product lines, our strategy was to transition them from a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand to a wellbeing-focused brand. Achieving this required us to rethink their market approach, both in retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Upon analyzing their target audience, we concluded that instead of persistently educating busy, health-conscious consumers about kombucha, we needed to shift the narrative and behavior. We revisited the brand’s entire hierarchy, positioning, purpose, and messaging to develop a new strategy that connected founder and rugby legend Jonny Wilkinson with the importance of the body in wellbeing, aiming to enrich people's lives by emphasizing value beyond the product itself. Our creative and branding strategy prioritized product recognition and brand development. With an e-commerce website established, we plan to launch a hub of editorial and social content focused on wellbeing and extending the brand's value beyond its products, which aligns with our 'For people and planet' wellbeing cycle strategy to propel the brand forward in all its endeavors. 'Full of life,' now the brand's tagline, not only reflects the essence of their products, rich in live cultures, but also originates from the brand's commitment to responsibility, which it now actively promotes. This principle is central to our creative strategy and serves as a guideline for everything the brand communicates, produces, and sells. This comprehensive approach has distinguished the brand, enhancing its product offerings while introducing innovative perspectives on health, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility, fostering transparency and connection with customers to help them lead fuller lives.

Dune London UX and Website Design

Dune London aims to be a hub for brand expression, customer interaction, and a seamless omni-channel experience, all while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of consumers. This initiative began with the development of a user-friendly website that respects individual browsing preferences and offers a variety of choices. Through extensive user research and analytics conducted with customer research partners, we concentrated on enhancing four key areas: the purchasing journey, inspiration-driven shopping, occasion-based search experiences, and reinforcing the brand’s identity. The ecommerce platform we designed positions Dune London prominently in the ‘accessible luxury’ market, aligning with the target demographic. The website is shaped by user needs while maintaining focused and organized searches through a well-structured tagging system. This strategy enhances the brand’s authority in the market by offering numerous compelling reasons to purchase while embracing trendsetting and incorporating elements of mid-to-high fashion. The guiding brand proposition, "Devoted to Shoes," informed all design and technical choices, reflecting the brand’s core values and showcasing an understanding of the passion for footwear. Consequently, the ecommerce site was created to accommodate every individual, irrespective of their style or shopping habits. As for the results, following the website’s recent launch, we are still awaiting initial outcomes. However, feedback from the brand has been overwhelmingly positive. We have established a strong ecommerce foundation that will propel the brand forward and effectively link their online and physical retail experiences.
