Collaborating with Hatch, they transitioned from prototypes to mass production by refining design for manufacturing and optimizing supply chains, achieving a 25% reduction in Bill of Materials costs. During the FDA testing phase, Hatch enhanced SimPull with features like an extendable bumper, a foot-operated brake, and improved firmware with monitoring capabilities. A Gamma Build tested production tools, ensuring quality and performance through rigorous inspections. Hatch then supported a pilot build and scaled production, adhering to ISO13485 standards, enabling The Patient Company to efficiently supply a practical solution that enhances patient handling in medical settings.
