About the Team

OUR STORY

Guidea does strategic product design for the most complex domains — the industries where innovating, launching and leading are hardest — and has worked with twenty of the Fortune 100 alongside hundreds of other companies. Rather than applying one playbook, it meets each team where they are and writes a custom plan across the four phases of its own process, which is why the same approach covers both iterative product enhancement and establishing a DesignOps framework from scratch.

Lasting Partnership with Cigna

Unknown

Commissioned by the VP of Design to develop and enhance their internal UX team, Guidea spearheaded the creation and implementation of a Design Language System, pinpointed improvements for DesignOps processes, offered leadership in UX design and research support, and facilitated team training, all while developing consumer and enterprise products for over 100 million members. Cigna recently introduced Evernorth, which includes several companies we've collaborated closely with, such as Express Scripts, InsideRx, and Accredo. "From beginning to end, there hasn't been a challenge or proposal they couldn't assist with or resolve. In short, Guidea is essential to me and to the success of our design transformation." - VP Design at Express Scripts.

FinTech Breakthrough Award Winning SaaS

Mastercard

In collaboration with the Brighterion Mastercard design team, Guidea developed cutting-edge fraud detection solutions for data scientists and financial crime investigators, which included a Machine Learning workbench, tools for managing rules, and applications for case management. In 2020, Brighterion was recognized as the Best Financial Transaction Security Company, highlighting its platform's ability to remove the requirement for costly data scientists and complex databases and data warehouses, while only taking 6-8 weeks to deploy and begin risk management. You can see its functionality on Vimeo. "They consistently exceed expectations. Our partnership is strong, and we are very pleased. My team essentially views Guidea as an extension of our own. They possess extensive knowledge in their domain and are experts in usability, user experience design, information architecture, research, and wireframing. They are exceptional." - Director of Product Management Mastercard

Design Innovation for the World's Most Admired Co.

Johnson & Johnson

Initial collaborations with Johnson & Johnson involved designing consumer mobile applications for BabyCenter, specifically the My Baby Today and My Pregnancy apps. These apps, which have been used by over 300 million parents, have maintained a 5-star rating since our design partnership began in 2012. Presently, we're focused on innovative design utilizing AI and NLP for data intelligence, which is intended to enhance product development and provide actionable insights for internal teams throughout the organization. Please note that the specific work is under NDA, and only design concepts are shared here.
