Brand Development / Visual Identity / Videography
[GENEVA, SWITZERLAND] Thanks to the innovative technology from Tredegar Film Products, fluids can vanish seemingly without a trace. The company produces non-woven fabric sold in large white rolls, which manufacturers use in layers for personal care products. 3D-MA collaborated with Atlantic Exhibits (now part of Impact XM) to help Tredegar Film Products rebrand. Although Tredegar is a global leader in plastic films and aluminum extrusions, the film product division required a distinct identity separate from its industrial parent company. The former brand design featured bold black typography complemented by intricate waves of bright orange, purple, and green. The challenge was to evolve the brand while honoring its origins and to create a more approachable narrative that resonates with individuals, while also highlighting their technology-driven solutions and global manufacturing capabilities. Establishing a visual language with international appeal was crucial, aligning with their worldwide clientele. To achieve this, a softer typography, dark grays instead of harsh blacks, and an effective color balance were used. In this industry, the distance between potential clients and manufacturing sites can lead to significant delays and high shipping costs, so it was vital to subtly emphasize Tredegar’s global manufacturing presence in the new design without relying on conventional location markers on a map.
