For the past four years, a cooperative coalition of public and private entities, including Scott County CDA and Mystic Lake, has collaboratively met to optimize Scott County's abundant assets such as housing, employment, and entertainment. This group confirmed the county's exceptional appeal and recognized that fostering sustained economic growth hinges on encouraging residents to cherish their community by raising awareness about available opportunities, facilitating connections, and expanding avenues for everyone to flourish. Responding to feedback highlighting resource gaps and limited job connectivity, they created a unique platform leveraging regional partnerships. Collaborating with local chambers, libraries, and organizations, they maintain a comprehensive event calendar to enrich community engagement and invite ongoing participation to build a vibrant, interconnected Great Scott community.
