ABOUT GREAT BELIEVER

We're a graphic design agency for nonprofits

Prior to founding Great Believer, we spent our time working with corporate clients, but we longed for more meaningful endeavors. Eager to engage in work we truly believed in, we actively pursued side projects with mission-driven clients. These experiences brought us greater happiness and fulfillment than we had ever known. Ultimately, we decided to leave our jobs and immerse ourselves in the nonprofit sector, where we quickly recognized the gap between the power of an organization’s mission and the quality of its design. This realization led to the creation of Great Believer, enabling nonprofits to allocate their time to making a difference in the world while also presenting a visually appealing brand. Today, Great Believer operates as a design agency focused on nonprofits, specializing in web, branding, and print services. Our dedicated team of Believers is uniquely skilled and passionately driven by nonprofit initiatives, allowing us to deliver outstanding results for inspiring organizations. In every project we undertake, we bring two key elements:

About the Team

OUR STORY
After graduating from Syracuse University, Josh Riman spent nearly ten years working in advertising, branding, and marketing, gaining valuable experience but feeling disconnected from corporate clients. Seeking more meaningful work, he joined the Taproot Foundation, where he contributed to pro bono branding projects for New York City nonprofits. These experiences inspired a significant career shift, leading him to pursue a master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration and ultimately establish Great Believer. Josh now resides in Brooklyn with his wife, two joyful sons, and their quirky cat, driving the company with a passion for impactful work that bridges his marketing expertise and commitment to nonprofit causes.
