Established in 2007 in Cambridge, MA, Graffito began by revitalizing 25,000 square feet of vacant retail space beneath Kendall Square's first non-academic residential tower, the Watermark. At that time, despite thriving office and lab activity, the area lacked retail vibrancy and meaningful ground-floor engagement. Graffito, alongside its predecessor CityRetail, carefully introduced local restaurants, retail amenities, and public spaces, enhancing the neighborhood's appeal and vitality. This success paved the way for projects across Kendall Square, Cambridge, Boston, and Somerville. Today, Graffito SP extends its influence throughout Greater Boston and select cities nationwide, maintaining a steadfast dedication to context-specific localism and fostering neighborhood-scale value, reflecting the core values since its inception.
