Niantic Shopify Development and Digital Marketing

Niantic

Not just the Pokémon Go! audience. Niantic’s Pokémon Go! is one of the most recognizable brands globally. However, the awareness and search interest for Niantic’s augmented reality games greatly exceeded that of the Niantic brand itself. As the game developer prepared to launch a variety of new augmented reality titles independently, we equipped them with the tools needed for proper recognition. We created the Niantic Supply e-commerce site to enhance brand visibility and engage Niantic’s existing community of explorers with specially designed merchandise to elevate outdoor gaming. This process went beyond merely customizing a Shopify template; it required strong UX direction on the front end, involving the development of unique designs and iterative improvements. We assisted Niantic with release planning and integrated marketing strategies to launch their new high-performance, global e-commerce site efficiently. Additionally, the enhanced brand presence was supported through email marketing using Klaviyo, special limited-edition merchandise announcements via SMS, and tactical in-game balloon drops. With this infrastructure in place, Niantic is no longer merely playing a supporting role to its own creations, as its true, multi-faceted identity is now ready to shine on its own. Children's National Hospital "Light Up Dr. Bear"

Children's National Hospital Foundation

A fundraising initiative for a well-known children's hospital exceeds expectations for its young patients. Launched for the Children's National Medical Center, the Dr. Bear campaign transformed fundraising into an enjoyable, uplifting community project, supporting the work of the Children’s Hospital Foundation (CHF) and motivating passersby to contribute. During the 2018 holiday season, Autonomy created 270 illuminated bears using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Internet-of-Things (IoT) managed cloud platform. These bears, inspired by the favorite stuffed animals of the hospital's patients, appeared in busy locations throughout the DC metro area and lit up whenever a donation was made to the CHF. Donors eagerly engaged with the holiday-themed bears, using an SMS-based mobile text-to-give platform to submit their contributions. The campaign resulted in a 124% increase in new donors, a 45% rise in the number of gifts, and a 500% boost in traffic to the donation site. The actual impact of the fundraising helped the esteemed Children’s National Medical Center fulfill its mission: to provide top-notch care for children in need of medical services. A partnership with Amazon in 2019 enhanced the project, making the bears more resistant to weather, easier to maintain, and even brighter.

NAM Web Development

National Association of Manufacturers

Connecting creators with manufacturing innovation. The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is dedicated to creating policies and programs that attract, train, and retain workers in the manufacturing sector across the United States. At their core, they serve as the driving force for a group of pioneers eager to bring necessary developments to life. Their approach to organizing, supplying, and distributing valuable resources to millions of potential workers encompasses various strategies and operates on several levels. The operation is already quite complex. Then came the pandemic. When COVID-19 restrictions hampered NAM’s Creators Wanted mobile tour, we collaborated with Advoc8 to ensure success through virtual streaming. We also developed and launched NAM’s Creators Wanted website, an engaging platform aimed at individuals seeking to start or advance their careers in modern manufacturing, which will eventually reach 15–20 million students and emerging workers. With our assistance, NAM navigated unexpected challenges in a complicated landscape and managed to streamline vital processes to deliver essential resources for the broad community of aspiring professionals in manufacturing. The outcomes are impressive, the experience is comprehensive, and individuals from robotic engineers to chemists and manufacturing accountants discovered new opportunities within their reach.
