Augmented Reality (AR) To Demonstrate Scanner
Philips Medical Systems sought a partner capable of turning its ideas and specifications into an app and developing an initial version within six weeks. "We found this partner in Glamorous Goat," stated marketing manager Ruud Roelofsen. "Glamorous Goat was quick to start working and collaborated thoughtfully with us to create the best solution. We held several meetings in a short timeframe, and soon we had a clear outline of the app's design, allowing us to present the concept internally." The app garnered praise both within and outside the organization. A few years back, Philips recognized it as a 'hero-app,' setting a benchmark for other applications. "We take pride in that recognition," Roelofsen noted. "It's become a very effective and appealing app, and we continue to receive positive feedback. Additionally, we can make updates ourselves through a dashboard, which helps us keep the app current." Ruud added, "While the app is user-friendly, there’s always room for enhancement. We're looking to introduce new features to better cater to our users, and we would gladly collaborate with Glamorous Goat again for further development." In 2020, a decision was made to replace the existing hybrid app with a native one for both iOS and Android platforms, increasing the use of Augmented Reality (AR) within the app. This transition simplified further development, yielding a superior app. In 2023, Philips opted to update the design and reassess the ROI flow, ensuring the app remains relevant and valuable, particularly with user feedback.
