Gismapx is a freelance geomatics and cartography studio run by Marc Yeranosyan. I assist utilities, energy and pipeline companies, and industries in transforming disorganized CAD, LiDAR, and GIS datasets into dependable, map-ready information and precise deliverables. My main services include data production and updates (SHP/GeoPackage/DXF/DWG), quality assurance and control, normalization, automation with QGIS, FME, and Python (including expressions, scripts, and lightweight plugins), as well as setting up PostGIS and GeoServer, and providing bathymetry and photogrammetry services (DTM/DSM, profiles) along with client-ready outputs (PDF/print, dashboards). My workflow is streamlined, well-documented, and reproducible. I create small automations that minimize manual labor, validate data early on, and ensure timely delivery. The tools I use include QGIS, ArcGIS, FME, PostGIS, Python, CloudCompare, and VisionLidar. Clients choose me for my quick responses, clear communication, well-organized documentation, and refined maps.
