ABOUT GIRLS WHO WEB
All-female website development and IT training
I began my journey as a digital marketing consultant in 2013, but that isn’t where it all started. Growing up in a small Italian town at the age of 18, I believed that all business owners created their own websites, which prompted me to learn how to use WordPress. After graduating from university, my first job was with an app development company that served clients like Juventus, Barcelona, and Microsoft. Later, I became self-employed and assisted numerous small and medium-sized enterprises with their digital marketing and CRM strategies. Unfortunately, whenever I referred my clients to web developers or agencies, they often returned unhappy, or even frustrated. Therefore, in 2022, I established Girls Who Web with a dual purpose: first, to empower SME owners to maximize their website potential; and second, to financially support women by employing mothers and funding scholarships for women in Indonesia.

OUR STORY
Giulia Cian Seren, founder of Girls Who Web, embarked on her digital marketing journey in 2013, rooted in her early curiosity while growing up in a small Italian town where she taught herself WordPress. After graduating, she gained valuable experience working with a top app development firm serving clients like Juventus, Barcelona FC, and Microsoft. Later, as an independent consultant, Giulia supported hundreds of SMEs with their digital marketing and CRM needs. Disheartened by the poor experiences her clients had with web developers, she launched Girls Who Web in 2022 with a dual mission: to enhance SME websites' effectiveness and to empower women by employing mothers and funding educational grants for Indonesian women through Remote Skills Academy.
