About the Team
OUR STORY
Agave Blue, inspired by the blue agave plant essential to tequila, opened its doors in Prairieville, LA in 2015, founded by Stephanie and Sergio Rubio, a husband-and-wife team passionate about creating an authentic family dining experience. Their restaurant reflects their personal touch, combining authentic Mexican cuisine crafted by Sergio, who brings his Queretaro roots and keen culinary sense, with Stephanie's expertise in crafting fresh margaritas using high-quality tequila and fresh ingredients. The welcoming atmosphere often features their children, emphasizing a family-friendly environment. With a diverse tequila bar offering over 20 varieties for unique drinks and a menu that's continuously evolving with special tacos, Agave Blue aims to be Prairieville's premier destination for tacos and tequila, inviting guests to enjoy and return regularly.
