Our founder, who is a passionate school teacher with an entrepreneurial spirit, found it frustrating to spend weekends reorganizing his garage, only to see it become disorganized again shortly after. After discovering an effective organizational system that kept everything off the floor, he was able to reclaim his weekends. This personal change inspired the creation of The Garage Makeover Company in 2012, initially as a side project. By 2014, the growing demand turned it into a full-time business. Starting from humble beginnings, we now proudly renovate around 150 garages annually, enhancing them with both order and style. In 2025, the company began a new phase after being acquired by Imburgia Group Inc., a Rochester-based firm known for respected local brands like Profeta Painting, Get Organized, Profeta Garage Floors, and Cabinets Plus Remodeling. This partnership is founded on shared principles: quality workmanship, honest service, and a strong commitment to the Rochester community. As we move forward, we are dedicated to upholding our established standards with the same expert installers and meticulous attention to detail, while expanding our services.
