Blue Sequoyah Technologies

Fynydd has teamed up with Blue Sequoyah Technologies to create a community-focused learning platform called Coursabi, which provides learners with an effective and straightforward way to enhance their educational journey. The platform's dashboard displays their current progress and upcoming assignments. Users can browse the content library for additional learning options, sign documents, and fill out forms. Additionally, the community aspect allows them to learn from both peers and content creators. Coursabi Mission Control is the area where authorized users can develop and organize training materials such as documents, forms, and courses. It also includes libraries for audio and video resources, along with imported learning modules. This section manages users and learning tasks. Furthermore, administrators and training managers can keep informed through dashboards, reports, notifications, community engagement, and much more.

BPCC Open Campus Mobile App

Bossier Parish Community College

Fynydd was tasked with developing a hybrid learning app platform for Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana, aimed at both enrolled and public students. This comprehensive platform encompassed a data layer, an API service with a management interface, client applications for the App Store and Google Play Store, as well as a responsive website. The primary objective of the project was to explore the effectiveness of gamification strategies related to course testing before enrollment. Additionally, it offered students an effective means to study and enhance their knowledge throughout each semester. The platform featured a variety of curricula delivered through video courses that included knowledge-check quizzes for students as they advanced. As they progressed, students could earn badges and challenge one another to quiz games for extra badges and leaderboard status. Some of the platform's features include:

Full-Stack Observability enables engineers to effectively plan, build, deploy, and manage exceptional software. Only New Relic offers a comprehensive data platform that consolidates all telemetry data—metrics, events, logs, and traces—alongside analytical tools to quickly identify solutions. This approach allows teams to go beyond just understanding what is happening to also grasp the underlying reasons. New Relic collaborated with Fynydd to develop a sales training platform meant to educate new sales staff with the most current product knowledge and real-life scenarios, ensuring they provide optimal recommendations to customers. They had already approved a multi-tenant WordPress environment for such applications, which is why we chose that content management system. While we typically advise against using WordPress due to security concerns, the New Relic IT department was managing the hosting through WPEngine and securing the platform, which alleviated some of our worries compared to a public internet setting. Additionally, we needed to integrate with their corporate Okta single sign-on (SSO) solution to limit access to the learning management system (LMS) to authorized sales personnel.
