Travel Aggregator Website
In Georgia, there are many companies providing tourism or related services. However, most of these companies do not have the necessary infrastructure to effectively draw in customers; many lack online booking systems, payment options, organized marketing campaigns, and some even don't have their own websites. BORD was designed to offer this infrastructure, ensuring quality service representation and acting as a comprehensive platform.
The project is organized so that each entry in the geographical database includes a description, a gallery, and serves as a link for connecting tourist routes or activities. The tour builder allows users to create routes by linking various points in a sequence. We added a functionality for variations, enabling users to select from multiple options available for specific tours. For instance, at the same location, visitors might choose between boat rides, kayaking, and jet skiing. Based on the settings, clients can select one or more of these services, and in group tours, some participants can pick one service while others select a different one.
We also integrated our project Forter, which has a large database of drivers with their own vehicles, into BORD. This allows clients to add a transfer service as an optional feature. The distance and cost of the transfer are automatically calculated based on factors such as vehicle capacity, type, and the rates set by the vehicle owner. The tour builder also enables the setting of different prices and conditions for various age groups, including restrictions for certain age ranges. Users can define costs per person, per group, or create a pricing scale based on the number of participants. The booking system allows for the selection of participant numbers by age groups, different tour components, optional transfers, and processing payments. Additionally, an interactive tool was developed to add and manage tourist attractions on Google Maps.
